What is Global Drone® 2026?
Global Drone® 2026 is a world-first major event platform bringing together drones, robotics, AI, Advanced Air Mobility, defence, agritech, investment, education and public spectacle on the Gold Coast, Australia. It combines a three-day Congress and Expo at Cbus Super Stadium, live demonstrations in the Drone Zone.
When does it take place?
The event runs across three days from Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 November 2026 – 0900 – 1700 daily.
Where is it held?
Cbus Super Stadium at Robina, on the Gold Coast.
What are the experiences?
Global Drone is built around four connected experiences:
- Congress — six industry congress streams with global keynote speakers, expert panels and pitch competitions in the stadium’s corporate function rooms.
- Expo — a three-day exhibition of drones (aerial, marine and terrestrial), robotics, AI, aerospace, defence, agritech, emergency response and education technologies.
- Drone Zone — live flight and ground demonstrations of autonomous systems staged on the stadium playing field.
- Keynote Luncheons – held daily with global keynote speakers during a three course lunch.
Who is the event for?
Global Drone® welcomes industry professionals, government representatives, defence personnel, investors, innovators, researchers, educators, students (via approved school groups) and members of the public. While the Congress and Keynote Luncheons are designed primarily for industry and government delegates, the Expo and Drone Zone are open to both industry and the general public.
What’s the difference between the Congress and the Expo?
The Congress is the business program — ticketed industry summits with keynote speakers, expert panels and pitch sessions, aimed at delegates, government and investors. The Expo is the exhibition floor, where you can explore technology stands and watch live demonstrations in the Drone Zone, and it’s open to industry and the general public via a General Admission ticket. In short: Congress is for the conference sessions; Expo (with GA) is for the exhibition and live demonstrations.
Who organises Global Drone®?
Global Drone is owned and organised by Super Fine Events and delivered through a specialist contractor network.
Who exhibits at the Expo?
Exhibitors include commercial enterprises, government agencies, Airservices Australia, OEM manufacturers across the UAS, robotics, AI, aerospace and defence sectors.
What can I see and do at the Expo?
You can explore the latest drone, robotics and AI technologies, meet the people and companies shaping the low-altitude economy, watch live demonstrations in the Drone Zone, and — for students and educators — engage with future careers content. The Expo is designed to be engaging for both industry professionals and the general public.
How do I get tickets to the Expo?
Expo access is via a General Admission (GA) ticket: $50 early bird / $60 full price for adults, and $20 early bird / $24 full price. Early-bird GA tickets are on sale from 3 September 2026.

All Congress and Expo tickets are sold through our official ticketing provider, Lüp Events. Please only purchase through links on the official Global Drone® website to ensure your tickets are valid.
How does the ticket registration process work?
To help ensure a safe and secure event, all attendees are required to complete an online registration.
Once submitted, registrations undergo an approval and identity verification process before a ticket is issued.
Once approved, you’ll receive your ticket via email along with everything you need to know before attending Global Drone® 2026.
What ticket types are available?
There are several ticket options depending on what you would like to experience:
- 3-Day Congress Delegate Pass — access to the Congress program, including industry sessions, keynotes and panels.
- Keynote Luncheon Tickets — a premium add-on experience held daily during the event.
- General Admission – Adult Tickets— access to the Expo and Drone Zone.
- General Admission – Student Group Tickets — Access to the Expo and Drone Zone during the Future Careers Day (Friday 13 November 2026)
How much do tickets cost?
Pricing varies by ticket type and the window you are purchasing in. See Tickets page for full details:
- 3-Day Congress Delegate Pass: $550 early bird / $650 full price.
- Keynote Luncheon (per day): $180 early bird / $200 full price.
- GA Adult (Expo & Drone Zone): $50 early bird / $60 full price.
- 3-Day GA Adult (Expo & Drone Zone): $100 early bird / $125 full price.
- GA Student Adult (Expo & Drone Zone): $10.
- 3-Day GA Student Adult (Expo & Drone Zone): $20.
- Future Careers Day ONLY (Child/ Group): $10.

When do tickets go on sale, and when do early-bird prices end?
Tickets are released in stages:
- Congress Delegate early-bird tickets: on sale from Thursday 3 September, ending Sunday 25 October 2026.
- Full-price Congress tickets: from Monday 26 October 2026
- GA (Expo & Drone Zone) early-bird tickets: on sale from Thursday 3 September, ending Sunday 25 October 2026.
- Full-price GA tickets: from Monday 26 October 2026.
Which ticket is right for me?
It depends on what you want to experience:
- For industry sessions, networking and sector insights, choose a Congress Delegate Pass.
- To explore the Expo, technology showcases and the Drone Zone, choose a GA ticket.
- If you are attending with students or an education group, choose Student / Group tickets.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
No. All tickets must be purchased online in advance. As every attendee is required to complete Global Drone®’s registration and security approval process, tickets are not available for purchase at the venue.
What payment methods are accepted?
Tickets are purchased securely online through Lüp Events. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout.
Will I receive a confirmation and a ticket?
Once your registration has been approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing your ticket and event information. Please bring your ticket (printed or on your mobile device) together with a valid government-issued photo ID to gain entry.
What is your refund and exchange policy?
All ticket sales are final and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The only exception is where a registration is not approved, in which case the ticket purchase will be refunded in full.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Tickets are issued to approved attendees only following the registration and security approval process and cannot be transferred to another person.

What currency are ticket prices shown in and are there any fees?
All ticket prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.

What does my ticket give me access to?
Access depends on your ticket type:
- 3-Day Congress Delegate Pass: access to Congress sessions on all days, plus the Expo and Drone Zone.
- GA (Adult or Student): access to the Expo and Drone Zone on event days.
- Keynote Luncheon: access to the luncheon on the relevant day/s, plus the Expo and Drone Zone.
What are the opening hours?
Daytime program at Cbus Super Stadium:
- Exhibition Zone (Expo): 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 November.
- Congress sessions: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm across the three event days.
Drone Zone live demonstrations: throughout each event day.
What time should I arrive?
For the Expo and Congress, we recommend arriving from 9:00 am to make the most of the day.
Is there an age requirement or restriction? Global Drone® 2026 is an industry event and is not open to children or persons under the age of 18. The only exception is students attending as part of an approved school or educational group during Future Careers Day on Friday 13 November. Student registrations must be arranged by a teacher or authorised educator.
Do children need a ticket?
Yes. Students attending Future Careers Day as part of an approved school or educational group must hold a valid ticket arranged by their teacher or authorised educator.
Will I be able to re-enter if I leave?
Yes, your badge will provide re-entry on the day you are attending.
Is the event held rain or shine?
The Expo, Congress and Drone Zone are held within Cbus Super Stadium and proceed in all weather. Weather and schedule updates will be posted on the website and via our live information channels closer to the event.
What should I bring?

Are assistance animals welcome?
Yes. Trained assistance animals are welcome at Global Drone 2026. Domestic pets are not permitted at the venue. If you’re attending with an assistance animal, we recommend getting in touch ahead of time so we can support your visit.

What is the Congress?
The Congress is the core business program of Global Drone® — six specialised congress streams convening across Cbus Super Stadium’s corporate facilities over the three event days, each featuring international keynote speakers, expert panels and Keynote Luncheons.

Who should attend the Congress?
The Congress is designed for industry leaders, government, investors, innovators, researchers, and professionals across defence, agribusiness, emergency response, education, infrastructure, aviation and the broader autonomous systems sector.
What is the Future Invest Pitch Fest?
Future Invest is a ‘Shark Tank’-style funding platform chaired by Beaten Zone Venture Partners, connecting innovators in robotics and autonomous systems with venture capital, major banks and private equity investors. It runs on Friday 13 November and is by expression of interest only.
How do I attend the Congress?
Purchase a 3-Day Congress Delegate Pass through the official website.
Is the Expo included with a Congress Pass?
Yes, a 3-Day Congress Pass includes access to the Expo and Drone Zone.
What is a Keynote Luncheon?
Keynote Luncheons are held daily throughout the event and are a premium networking and thought-leadership moments within selected Global Drone® Congress streams. They combine a hosted lunch with a high-profile keynote speaker, offering senior delegates a more intimate setting to connect.They are a premium add-on experience.
Is a Keynote Luncheon included in my Congress Pass?
No. Keynote Luncheons are an additional ticketed component and are not included in the standard Congress Delegate Pass. They must be purchased separately as an add-on.
How much does a Keynote Luncheon cost?
Keynote Luncheons are $180 at the early-bird rate and $200 at full price, aligned with the Congress ticketing timeline.

Are places limited?
Yes, tickets are limited and based on capacity.
How do I add a Keynote Luncheon to my booking?
You can purchase a Keynote Luncheon ticket through Lüp Events, or as a separate add-on to your 3-Day Congress Pass or GA ticket.
What is the Drone Zone?
The Drone Zone is Global Drone®’s live demonstration arena, staged on the Cbus Super Stadium playing field. It showcases autonomous systems in action across all domains — aerial, terrestrial and aquatic — with around 120 demonstrations scheduled across the three event days.
What will I see in the Drone Zone?
Live flight and ground demonstrations of drones, autonomous systems and robotics, with an emphasis on civilian technology innovation. Static displays of electric aircraft and autonomous flight systems are also featured, and remote or off-site demonstrations — such as aquatic or wildlife surveys — are beamed live to the stadium’s big screens so everyone can watch in real time.
When can I watch the demonstrations?
Live demonstrations run throughout each event day (Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 November and are viewable from the stadium.
Is the Drone Zone safe to watch?
Yes. All flight operations are managed by AUAV, which holds the overarching Remotely Piloted Aircraft Operator’s Certificate (ReOC) and acts as Chief Remote Pilot for all stadium flight operations. A 30-metre exclusion zone is maintained between all drones and patrons at all times, and no drones leave the stadium footprint. The stadium playing field sits in unrestricted airspace, outside the airport flight path.
Is the Drone Zone included in my ticket?
Drone Zone demonstrations are part of the event experience for General Admission visitors and delegates. To watch from the stadium, you’ll need a GA ticket (or a Congress Delegate Pass).
Can my company demonstrate in the Drone Zone?
Yes. Exhibitors can incorporate live demonstrations into their package. Register your demonstration interest through the Exhibitor Expression of Interest form in the Exhibit section.

Future Careers Day connects students and student groups from upper primary through to university with the technologies, industries and career pathways shaping the future of drones, robotics, AI, autonomous systems and Advanced Air Mobility. Join us for Future Careers Day on Friday 13 November 2026 at Global Drone®.
When is Future Careers Day?
Future Careers Day takes place on Friday 13 November 2026 from 9:00am–5:00pm at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast.
The program gives students the opportunity to explore the future of drones, robotics, AI, autonomous systems and Advanced Air Mobility through the Global Drone Expo, live demonstrations, education and career experiences.
How do schools register for Future Careers Day?
Schools and education groups can register their interest in attending Future Careers Day via the registration form on the Future Careers page of the Global Drone website.
Registrations must be submitted by a teacher or authorised educator on behalf of the school or education group. Following registration, the Global Drone® team will provide further information to help schools plan their visit.
Can students attend independently?
Students aged 18 years and over can attend Global Drone independently on any day of the event by purchasing a Student Ticket. A valid student ID must be presented as proof of eligibility.
Students under 18 years of age may attend Global Drone on Future Careers Day, Friday 13 November only. They must attend either as part of a registered school or education group or accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
Students under 18 cannot attend independently.
What age group is Future Careers designed for?
Future Careers is designed for students from upper primary through to university, providing age-appropriate opportunities to discover emerging technologies, industries and future career pathways.
The program will showcase opportunities across drones, robotics, AI, autonomous systems, Advanced Air Mobility and the many industries adopting these technologies.
What supervision is required for students under 18?
All students under the age of 18 must remain under appropriate adult supervision while attending Global Drone®.
School and education groups must be accompanied by teachers or authorised adult supervisors and meet the required adult-to-student supervision ratio for their group.
Students attending independently of a school group must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian for the duration of their visit on Friday 13 November.
Parents, guardians, teachers and other accompanying adults must also be registered to attend Global Drone®.
Is the event accessible for visitors with disability?
Cbus Super Stadium is a fully accessible venue, with accessible parking, entrances, amenities and viewing areas available. Additional accessibility information will be published closer to the event.

Where exactly is Cbus Super Stadium?

How do I get there?
The Gold Coast is easily accessible. Cbus Super Stadium is around 20 minutes by direct transfer from Gold Coast Airport, and is also accessible by train from Brisbane. Full travel, public transport and parking details are available on the Visit page.
Where can I be dropped off?
Designated drop-off and pick-up locations for taxis, rideshare services and accessible transport will be published closer to the event.
Is there parking available?
There is no on-site parking available at Cbus Super Stadium during Global Drone® 2026. On-street and public parking is available in the surrounding area within a short walking distance of the venue. Parking availability and any applicable fees are managed by the relevant parking operators, so we recommend allowing extra time to find a space or considering public transport where possible.
Where should I stay?
The Gold Coast offers a wide range of accommodation to suit every budget, much of it close to Robina and the coast. Accommodation information is available on the Visit page of the website.

I’m travelling from overseas — what do I need to know?
International visitors are warmly welcomed. Please check the official Australian Government visa requirements for your country before you travel. International visitor information will be available on the Visit section of the website.
Can you provide an invitation letter for my visa application?
Confirmed Congress delegates and registered exhibitors may be able to request a letter of invitation to support a visa application. A letter of invitation does not guarantee a visa will be granted and is not a financial undertaking by the organisers.

Can exhibitors demonstrate in the Drone Zone?
Yes. Exhibitors can incorporate live demonstrations into their package. The Drone Zone stages aerial, terrestrial and aquatic demonstrations on the stadium playing field, with off-site demonstrations beamed to the big screens. Register your demonstration interest via the Expression of Interest form on the Exhibit page.
How do I become a sponsor or partner?
Sponsorship is a relationship-led conversation. Submit a sponsorship enquiry through the Sponsor page and the sponsorship team will be in touch to discuss partnership options and prepare a tailored proposal.
What sponsorship opportunities are available?
A range of sponsorship opportunities is available across the Congress, Expo, and Drone Zone, scalable to different objectives and budgets.
When can exhibitors bump in and out?

Safety & Security
Safety is our highest priority
The safety of our visitors, delegates, exhibitors and the public is the highest priority at Global Drone® 2026. All flight operations are conducted under strict regulatory compliance and managed by specialist, certified contractors.
Are the drone flights and demonstrations safe?
Yes. All stadium flight operations are managed by AUAV under an overarching Remotely Piloted Aircraft Operator’s Certificate (ReOC), with a designated Chief Remote Pilot. A 30-metre exclusion zone is maintained between all drones and patrons at all times, no drones leave the stadium footprint, and the playing field sits in unrestricted airspace outside the airport flight path. Rehearsals, testing and battery management are all part of the safety regime.
Are the drone operations approved by the aviation regulator?
Yes. Operations comply with all Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations. The event contractor already holds a Gold Coast area standing CASA approval, with approval for the larger drone fleet in progress.
Will there be first aid and medical support?
Yes. First aid and medical support are part of the event’s crowd management and safety plans at Cbus Super Stadium, with onsite medics in place.
What security measures are in place?
Crowd management plans, security personnel, police liaison, identity verification procedures and emergency response plans are in place throughout the event. Please follow the directions of event staff and security personnel at all times.
Is alcohol served, and are there rules around it?
Where alcohol is available, responsible service of alcohol applies and proof of age may be required. Patrons who are intoxicated or behaving unsafely may be refused entry or removed.
Can I fly my own drone at or near the event?
No. For everyone’s safety and to comply with aviation regulations, members of the public must not fly personal drones at or near Cbus Super Stadium. Unauthorised drone activity can endanger the demonstrations and the public, and may be subject to enforcement.
What should I do in an emergency at the event?
If you need help, find the nearest event staff member, security officer or marked first aid point. In a life-threatening emergency, call 000. Please familiarise yourself with exits and follow the directions of staff and emergency services.
Where do I need to complete a registration and security review?
Global Drone® welcomes senior government representatives, defence personnel, international delegates and industry leaders. To help ensure a safe and secure event for all attendees, every registration undergoes an approval and identity verification process before a ticket is issued.
Where do I need photo identification?
A valid government-issued photo ID is required to verify your identity and ensure it matches your approved registration before entry to the event.
Why is facial recognition used?
Facial recognition technology is used as part of Global Drone’®s security procedures to verify attendee identity and facilitate efficient entry to the venue. This technology supports the safety and security of all attendees.

Is food and drink available onsite?
Yes. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at Cbus Super Stadium throughout each event day. Details of outlets and options will be confirmed closer to the event.
Is food included with my ticket?
General Admission, Student Group, and Congress Delegate tickets do not include food unless stated. Keynote Luncheons are the exception — a hosted lunch is part of the Keynote Luncheon experience. Otherwise, food and drink are available to purchase onsite.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Patrons are not permitted to bring food or beverage products from commercial outlets into the venue. Homemade food in a container (other than glass) is permitted. Water in a bottle with an unbroken factory seal (up to 1.25L) and tea and coffee in a thermos are permitted. Other liquids are not permitted. Otherwise, patrons can bring in empty water bottles which can be filled with water at the designated water stations in the venue.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options will be available. Keynote Luncheon and catered Congress elements will aim to accommodate common dietary requirements where notified in advance.
Will there be WiFi?
Cbus Super Stadium does not have a dedicated, venue wide public wi-fi network.
Is the event cashless? Are there ATMs?
Cbus Super Stadium is a cashless venue. There are no ATMs on site.
Is there a cloakroom or bag storage?
Yes, Cbus Super Stadium provides free cloaking facilities for oversized bags.
Where do I collect my badge or pass on the day?
You can collect your event badge from the Registration Desk upon arrival at Cbus Super Stadium. Please have your ticket (printed or on your mobile device) and a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s licence or Passport) ready for verification.
As part of Global Drone®’s security procedures, facial recognition technology will be used at the venue to verify attendee identity and facilitate entry.
Please allow additional time on arrival to complete the identity verification process.
Is smoking or vaping permitted?
Cbus Super Stadium is a smoke-free venue in line with Queensland law. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas.
Is there a lost property service?
If you lose or find an item during the event, please visit the nearest information point or event staff member. Lost property enquiries after the event can be made via the Contact page on the Global Drone website.
