Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2026

1. Introduction
Super Fine Events Pty Ltd ABN 25 159 701 050 of PO Box 519, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217 (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the organiser of the Global Drone Show 2026 and operator of related websites and ticketing channels (the “Event”). We collect and manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The information includes: contact details; ticket and attendance data; marketing preferences; images and CCTV.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of personal information we collect. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”) and the Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”).

This Policy applies to all personal information we collect from and about attendees, ticket holders, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, suppliers, contractors, job applicants, website visitors and members of the public who interact with the Event.

2. What is personal information?
“Personal information” has the meaning given in the Privacy Act and means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether or not the information is true and whether or not it is recorded in a material form.

3. Personal information we collect

The personal information we collect depends on the way you interact with us. It may include: 

  • Identity and contact information: name, postal address, email address, phone number, country of residence.
  • Ticketing and attendance information: ticket type, booking reference, transaction details, attendance dates, accessibility requirements, dietary requirements.
  • Exhibitor and sponsor information: company name, ABN, role, billing details, stand
    allocation, insurance details.
  • Marketing preferences: subscription status, communication preferences, areas of interest.
  • Lead capture information: information provided by attendees at exhibitor stands or via lead capture devices where the attendee has consented. 
  • Imagery and recordings: photographs, video and audio recordings captured at the Event for marketing, security or operational purposes (see section 7).
  • Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage captured at the Venue and surrounding areas for safety and security purposes.
  • Website and technical information: IP address, device information, browser type, pages visited, referral source, cookies and similar tracking technologies.
  • Payment information: necessary to process payments, however full credit card numbers are processed by our third-party payment processors and are not stored by us.
  • Job applicant information: where you apply for a role, your CV, employment history, qualifications and referees. 
  • Any other information you choose to provide to us, for example through correspondence, competitions, surveys or enquiries.


Sensitive information. We do not generally collect sensitive information (such as health information). Where we do (for example, accessibility or dietary requirements), we will only collect it with your consent and use it solely for the purpose for which it was provided.

4. How we collect personal information

We collect personal information directly from you wherever reasonably practicable, including when you:

  • purchase or register for a ticket via our ticketing partner;
  • complete an exhibitor, sponsor or speaker application;
  • subscribe to our mailing list or follow our social media channels;
  • enter the Venue (including via CCTV and photography/filming at the Event);
  • visit our website or interact with our online content; or
  • contact us by email, telephone or in person.

We may also collect personal information from third parties, including our ticketing partner Lüp Events, our exhibitors and sponsors where you have consented to share your details, payment processors, recruitment agencies and publicly available sources.

If you provide us with personal information about another person, you must ensure that person is aware of this Privacy Policy and has consented to your disclosure of their personal information to us.

5. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information

We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for purposes including:

  • processing ticket sales and managing attendance at the Event;

  • managing exhibitor, sponsor, speaker and supplier relationships;

  • communicating with you about the Event, including pre-event information, schedule updates and post-event follow-up;

  • sending marketing communications about the Event and future events organised by us, where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law;

  • ensuring the safety and security of all persons at the Event, including via CCTV and bag checks;

  •  promoting and reporting on the Event, including via photography and video taken at the Event;

  • administering competitions, prize draws and surveys; • complying with our legal obligations, including health, safety and tax obligations;

  • responding to enquiries, feedback and complaints; 

  • conducting analytics to improve our events, services and website; and

  • any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or to which you have otherwise consented.

6. Marketing communications

Where you have provided your contact details to us, we may send you marketing communications about the Event and future events we organise. You can opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time by:

• clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email we send you; or
• contacting us at info@globaldroneshow.com.

We will action your opt-out request within a reasonable time. We may continue to send you operational communications (for example, ticketing confirmations and important safety updates) that are not promotional in nature.

7. Photography, filming and CCTV at the Event

The Event is recorded by photographers and videographers engaged by us, and the Venue is covered by CCTV. By entering the Venue, you acknowledge and consent to:

• being photographed, filmed and/or recorded; and
• the use of those images and recordings by us and our authorised representatives for marketing, promotional, archival, security, operational and reporting purposes, in any media, worldwide, on a royalty-free basis and in perpetuity.

If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed for promotional purposes, please speak with our staff at the entry point and avoid clearly designated filming areas. CCTV footage is retained only for so long as necessary for security purposes.

8. Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose your personal information to:

• Lüp Events, as our ticketing partner, for the purpose of issuing and managing tickets;
• Cbus Super Stadium and any other Event venue, where required for access, accreditation, safety or emergency purposes;
• our service providers, including payment processors, IT and hosting providers, marketing platforms, insurers and professional advisors, who are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use personal information for the purpose for which it was disclosed;
• law enforcement, regulators or other government bodies where required or authorised by law;
• a purchaser or prospective purchaser of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections; and
• any other person to whom you have consented to us disclosing your personal information. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not disclose your personal information to sponsors, exhibitors or other third parties for their own marketing purposes unless you have expressly opted in to that disclosure (for example, by scanning your accreditation at an exhibitor stand or entering a sponsor competition).

9. Overseas disclosure

We are based in Australia and store personal information in Australia where reasonably practicable. Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting, email marketing and analytics platforms) may store data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union.

Where personal information is disclosed to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient handles the information in a manner consistent with the APPs.

We do not otherwise disclose personal information to overseas recipients.

10. Cookies and our website

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyse traffic and personalise content. Cookies are small data files placed on your device. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of our website may not function properly as a result.

We may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and advertising platforms that collect information about your visits to our website. This information is generally collected in a form that does not directly identify you.

11. Security of personal information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include access controls, secure storage of physical records, password protection of electronic records and the use of reputable IT service providers.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will comply with our obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act.

12. Retention of personal information

We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to
securely destroy or de-identify it.

13. Accessing and correcting your personal information

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request. correction if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.

To make a request, please contact us using the details in section 16. We will respond within a reasonable period (usually within 30 days). We may require you to verify your identity before processing your request. There is no fee for making a request, although in some circumstances we may charge a reasonable fee for providing access (for example, where the request requires significant time to process).

If we refuse access or correction, we will give you written reasons for our decision and information about how to complain.

14. Complaints

If you believe we have breached this Privacy Policy, the Privacy Act or the APPs, please contact us in writing using the details in section 16. Your complaint should include:

• your name and contact details;
• a description of the conduct you believe constitutes a breach; and
• any supporting evidence.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and aim to investigate and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will be available on our website and will be identified by the “Last updated” date at the top of the document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
